The Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI) held its second Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 16th.
From May 27th - 29th, members of SCAI attended an exposition on intellectual property rights.
On May 13 to 19 May 2010, the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia visited a coffee plantation in North Sumatra and Aceh Tengah with several members. This activity aims to provide knowledge to the members about how coffee growing, processing, the proper post-harvest really, and introducing a good coffee quality.

Q Grader Course and Certification

SCAI work together with Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) held Q Grader Course and Certification. Training was led by Mr. Ted Lingle from CQI as Principle instructur and assisted by 2 SCAI members Mr. Peter Slack and Mr. Adi W.T,who also had similar training on January. Currently, there are 697 Q Graders worldwide and 41 of them came from Indonesia.
